As reported in the interview with Andy Serkis for EW.com, in which they possibly confirm that the speculations about Supreme Leader Snoke’s actual identity as Darth Plagueis are not so.
Supreme Leader Snoke is…just Snoke!
“Supreme Leader Snoke is quite an enigmatic character, and strangely vulnerable at the same time as being quite powerful,” Serkis says. “Obviously he has a huge agenda. He has suffered a lot of damage. As I said, there is a strange vulnerability to him, which belies his true agenda, I suppose.”
We’ll find out for sure in Episode VIII which hits theaters in 2017!
