Star Wars Episode VIII Filming is, “In the home stretch”, Says Director Rian Johnson

It looks like the filming for Star Wars: Episode VIII may be nearing the end.

With fans anxiously counting down the days until the much anticipated next film is released, Director Rian Johnson, posted a picture on his Tumblr page of a (soon to be iconic) cloak with the quote, “In the home stretch.” Of course, this could mean that filming in that location is coming to an end. We’ll have to “stay tuned!”

Early that same morning prolific Tweeter and Master Jedi, Mark Hamill, ended what was apparently a long day on the movie set with his latest Twitter post. Clearly, as the filming schedule is coming to an end so increases the workload for the actors and crew!

Keep up to date with the activities on the set of Ep. VIII (sort of), by following Mark Hamill and Rian Johnson on Twitter. You never know what fun post or picture may appear!

Star Wars: Episode VIII will be in theaters December 2017.
