“LOOK OUT!”
James Gunn has just posted an exciting teaser poster on X for the upcoming Supergirl movie, starring Milly Alcock, set to release in 2026.
Fans that have seen the Superman movie have already got an idea of what to expect from the character where at the end of the Superman movie, a very drunk Supergirl made an appearance at Superman’s “Fortress of Solitude” to announce her return to Earth (from partying on red sun planets) and pick up her dog, Krypto.

Supergirl first appeared in Action Comics #252 in May 1959, created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino. As fans will know, Supergirl is Superman’s cousin, Kara Zor‑El was sent to Earth from Argo City to look after baby Kal‑El, only to arrive later due to cosmic delays. Supergirl has starred in comic series and animated shows, being portrayed as a heroic, young woman and judging from that appearance and this poster with attitude, it looks like Gunn will continue with his signature style that made The Guardians of the Galaxy a fan favorite but, will it work with DC fans?
