“GODZILLA MINUS ZERO” Teaser Trailer Released

The KING OF THE MONSTERS returns!

An exciting new teaser trailer has been released for the anticipated sequel, “Godzilla Minus Zero,” which will release in theaters November 6th.

After the historic triumph of “Godzilla Minus One”, which was the first Godzilla film ever to win an Oscar for Best Visual Effects, director and VFX genius Takashi Yamazaki returns to continue his masterpiece. The next chapter of destruction awaits us under the title “Godzilla Minus Zero” (original: Gojira Mainasu Zero).

In terms of content, the film follows on directly from the events of its predecessor, which was set in post-war Japan. The main actors Ryunosuke Kamiki (Kōichi Shikishima) and Minami Hamabe (Noriko Oishi) return to their roles, which indicates that the emotional human drama is once again at the center. But the threat is also growing: equipped with a significantly higher budget, Yamazaki promises to increase the scale of devastation once again.

“Godzilla Minus Zero” is under enormous pressure of expectation, as it has to prove that its predecessor was not a “one-hit wonder”, but the beginning of a new golden era for the Japanese MonsterVerse. While Hollywood’s MonsterVerse focuses on action, Yamazaki’s vision remains a dark, grounded confrontation with trauma and hope – only with atomic fire breath.

Godzilla Minus Zero releases in theaters November 6, 2026.
