“Movies touch our hearts and awaken our vision.” – Martin Scorsese
With so many superhero movies and television series released over the past decade, it’s no surprise that many fans have begun talking about “superhero fatigue.” While the biggest studios continue to reimagine our favorite heroes, some of the most exciting and faithful superhero stories are being told by fans themselves. Created out of passion rather than profit, fan films often stay true to the characters, worlds, and ideals that made us fall in love with these heroes in the first place.
That’s why superhero fan films continue to to be so popular with fans especially if they respect the established canon. Whether it’s Batman protecting Gotham, Superman giving us hope, or Spider-Man swinging through New York, these creators prove that you don’t need a Hollywood budget to tell an incredible superhero story.
